Joining House Sitting Australia is free.
You can create a profile, browse listings, view sitter profiles, import references and explore the platform without paying. A financial membership is only needed when you are ready to apply for house sits.

Homeowners
Free until 31/12/2026
Homeowners receive full platform access at no cost until 31/12/2026.
You can create and manage listings, review applications, shortlist sitters, message applicants, use digital sit agreements and create pet care cards.
No credit card is required to list during this period.
After the free homeowner period ends, any future pricing will be shown clearly before payment is required.
House Sitters
Foundation Member: $12 for the first year
The Foundation Member offer is available until 31/12/2026, or until the Foundation Member allocation is filled.
Foundation Members receive full sitter access for $12 for the first year. Your Foundation Member number is locked in when you subscribe and complete your sitter profile.
Foundation membership includes:

After the Foundation Member offer closes, standard annual pricing applies.
Annual Member: $55/year
Annual membership gives house sitters full access to apply for sits.
You can browse and search listings, apply to house sits, message homeowners, use digital sit agreements, build your profile, add trust badges and import references from previous sits.
You can cancel anytime.
Supporter / Patron: $99/year
The Supporter / Patron level is for members who want to help support the platform and contribute to future development.
It includes full sitter access, plus priority access to selected new features as they roll out.
This level is completely optional.
Optional Verification
Trust matters in house sitting, but not every trust signal suits every person.
HSA includes optional verification features so members can build confidence in ways that suit their own situation.
The Verified User Green Tick is an optional identity check completed through Stripe Identity. It is a one-time verification fee and is non-refundable because it covers third-party processing costs.
Police Checks and Working With Children Checks can also be added to your profile if you already have them or choose to provide them.
These are optional trust badges. They are not required to join HSA, browse listings, create a profile or apply for sits.

Payments
Payments are handled securely through Stripe.
Financial memberships are annual subscriptions and can be cancelled anytime. Membership fees include a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The optional identity verification fee is separate and non-refundable because it covers third-party processing costs.
